In honor of Valentine’s Day I thought I would spread some positivity. A lot of times my moments spent browsing on my Facebook feed, brings me to view a lot of negative things like advertisements objectifying humans, people’s self hatred, or even just people assuming everyone as a whole thinks the same way. The other day I was enlightened when I came across this video that a friend of mine shared.
This woman takes old Bratz dolls that she finds thrift shopping or at yard sales and she creates them into more natural looking dolls. She puts feet on them with practical shoes where before would have been a spot to click on stilettos. She removes the makeup off of the face and gives them a more bare look.
Toys”R”Us lists these dolls for children ages 5-14. Why do girls (or boys) of this age group need to play with half naked…
